Carousel is a utility that tells Windows to run a screen saver. What screen
saver it chooses is up to you. You can get to Carousel's settings menu by right-clicking
the Carousel icon and selecting "Configure". Here's the layout of
Carousel's Settings:
Credits - The first column on the left contains Carousel's
version number and the production credits.
Controls - The middle column contains all of the controls you
need to set Carousel up the way you like it. The controls consist of the following:
- Preview Window - The Preview Window shows you the screen saver
you have selected in the Checklist. See Checklist below for more information.
- Settings button - This button will bring up the settings for
the screen saver you have selected on the Checklist.
- Preview - This button will activate the screen saver you have
selected. Moving the mouse will return you to Carousel's settings menu.
- Select All button - Clicking this button will select ALL of
the screen savers in the Checklist.
- Clear All button - Clicking this button will clear the entire
Checklist of any selections.
- Random checkbox - Checking this box will activate a screen
saver at random each time a screen saver is called, regardless of what you have
selected in the Checklist. If this box is not checked Carousel will activate
a screen saver from your Checklist at random.
Checklist - All of the screen savers on your computer are
listed here with a checkbox on their left. Carousel will activate the checked
screen savers at random. To select a screen saver to be run, simply click the
checkbox. If you want all the screen savers to run, click the SELECT ALL button
in the middle column.
